READ YOUR BIBLE DAILY!

 While most are hustling and bustling, shopping for material things, remember this.  God didn't send his only begotten son down here so that we could go to Macy's or Dillard's to buy extravagant gifts. He sent the best gift for us (John 3:16), and the only thing that God ask in return is for us to live our lives according to the example that Jesus Christ set for us. Christ died for the cause of Christianity. Unfortunately, "Christianity" died for the cause to shop. How many times have you picked up the Bible and read it this month? How many times have you reached for your wallet, debt card, credit card, cash, or checks? What are you thinking about when you are reaching for the payment of that gift? Are you thinking about the Gift that God gave us? There is no amount of money that could ever repay that debt. We can; however, preach the word and be at it favorably.(2 Tim 4:2) We can and should pray using the example Jesus taught us in Matthew  6:9-13. Do yourself the favor. Sow the seeds of righteousness.
