EASY CINNAMON ROLLS

These homemade rolls are delicious and easy to make. Use your favorite baking mix.The Breakdown Café uses Jiffy brand baking mix. Jiffy brand doesn't have aluminum listed as an ingredient.


7 UP CINNAMON ROLLS

DOUGH INGREDIENTS.:

4 Cups Jiffy baking mix
1 Cup Sour cream
1 Cup 7 UP Carbonated Beverage
1/2 Cup melted butter

KNEAD 1 cup self rising flour

FILLING:
1/2 Cup softened butter
1 CUP GRANULATED SUGAR
1/4 CUP CINNAMON

GLAZE (OPTIONAL)
1 CUP CONFECTIONER'S SUGAR
1/2 - 1 CUP WATER OR MILK OR ORANGE JUICE

Stir all dough ingredients together. Batter will be extremely moist. Knead in 1 cup of self rising flour. Roll or pat into rectangular shape. Spread dough with soft butter and cinnamon sugar mix. May add raisins and nuts if you like. Roll dough tightly into log. Cut crosswise to form 10 to 12 cinnamon rolls.

Bake @ 350 F for 12-18 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and enjoy as is or add glaze.
