Facts About Potatoes


You may know that potatoes are a potassium rich food source. In fact, one 9.3 ounce medium potato provides 15% of the daily value for potassium.  Did you know that potatoes are a good source of Vitamin C? A 9.3 ounce medium potato has 30% of the daily value of vitamin C.  It contains 2 grams of fiber and only 110 calories. Don't skip your potato. It's good for you. Word of advice, don't  trick yourself with empty calories because chips and fries are not what we are talking about here. Bake, roast, or boil your potato for lower calories. Watch what you load on your potato.
